August/September:
Independent Lifelong Learners who use good research skills and work habits
What it looks like:

  • Using one or more sources and exploring your options

  • Using the technology QAS provides for school projects

  • 21st century skills using new technology

  • Teaching fellow classmates

  • Using our knowledge to do our best in school

  • Learn new things every day

  • Listen

What it looks like: 

  • Getting into the habit of praying to the Lord and confessing our love

  • Going to church and Reconciliation and fully our sins truthfully

  • Professing our Faith

  • Committing ourselves to God with our minds and bodies

  • Respecting and caring for others and also helping the needy

  • Doing something nice for others or making someone happy

  • Participate in daily prayer

  • Fully participate in Mass by singing and praying

  • Setting good examples and being a good buddy

  • Contemplate your actions and take responsibility for the your actions

  • Playing with someone who is sad or alone

  • Helping someone who is hurt

  • Participate in choir/cantors

  • Respond at Mass and sing along with the choir and cantors

  • Volunteer to bring up the gifts, read, altar serve or participate in other ways

  • Use the recycle bin to recycle paper and water bottles

  • Pick up trash from the playground, hallways and classroom
